What a thriller in Sacramento! The Grant Pacers varsity football team battled Destiny Christian Academy in a hard-fought conference matchup, ultimately falling just short in a 28–27 finish.
Blake Nycum connected with multiple targets for touchdowns, keeping Grant’s passing attack in the spotlight throughout the night. However, Destiny Christian’s defense rose to the challenge, containing Grant’s normally productive ground game and keeping the Pacers’ running backs in check.
On the other side of the ball, Vincent Scott and Ahmir Laster showed exactly why their connection has been generating buzz. The Destiny Christian quarterback-receiver duo delivered a performance that proved they’re more than just hype — they can compete with the best teams out there.
