Bellflower came out firing on all cylinders, overwhelming Dominguez in a 55-10 statement victory. The Buccaneers dominated on both sides of the ball, putting together an explosive offensive performance while controlling the game from start to finish.
Elacion Saxton was nearly unstoppable, piling up 318 yards and three touchdowns, while Kevin Cuba III powered the ground game with 124 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Through the air, Keon’Dre Smith gave the Dominguez defense fits, racking up an impressive 189 receiving yards.
The win moves Bellflower to 3-2 as the Buccaneers prepare to face the Santa Fe Sentinels (2-3) on Friday, October 2, in a Mid-Cities matchup. Santa Fe enters the game after a 29-22 loss to South Hills.
Dominguez falls to 2-3 and will look to bounce back against Hamilton (1-3). The Yankees are coming off a 41-6 win over George Washington Prep.
