Sierra Canyon DESTROYS Loyola 52-3! Trailblazers Stay UNDEFEATED Heading Into Playoffs!

October 31, 2025 – The Sierra Canyon Trailblazers continued their undefeated season with a commanding 52-3 victory over the Loyola Cubs. Ranked fourth in California, Sierra Canyon showed exactly why they’re one of the state’s top programs with another complete performance on both sides of the ball.

De’Markus Barnes led the way with 77 rushing yards, two touchdowns, and 31 receiving yards, while quarterback Laird Finkel added 194 passing yards and three scores through the air. On defense, Madden Riordan came up big with two interceptions, and Havon Finney Jr. delivered a momentum-shifting fumble return for a touchdown. The win moves Sierra Canyon to 10-0 heading into the playoffs, where they’ll face Santa Margarita on November 14. Loyola, now 4-6, looks to bounce back against Newbury Park.
