October 10, 2025 – In a tightly contested battle between two of California’s top high school football teams, Santa Margarita narrowly defeated Mater Dei 7-6. Despite the loss, Mater Dei’s defense shined with three sacks from Shaun Scott, Matamatagi Uiagalelei, and Montana Toilolo.
Scott stood out with a sack, forced fumble, and five tackles (1.5 for loss). The Monarchs drop to 4-2, while the Eagles improve to 5-2 with their fourth straight road win.
