Santa Margarita upset the #3 team in California in overtime. Corona Centennial came from behind and could have won the game in regulation but a blocked field goal in the 4th quarter kept the game tied.
Tulane QB commit Trace Johnson led Santa Margarita and got NFL legend Carson Palmer his first win under the lights. Santa Margarita was without 4 star wide receiver Trent Mosley.
Corona Centennial was led by QB Dominick Catalano who had a couple of touchdowns but threw a couple of interceptions. One at the goal line and another that was returned for a pick 6 by sophomore Ca’Ron Williams.
