September 19, 2025: After falling to Corona Centennial last week #8 in the country, Mater Dei, traveled to far east LA to Las Vegas to face the current #2 team in the country Bishop Gorman.
The game featured several questionable calls including a fumble ruled an incomplete pass, a touchdown ruled down at the 1 and Mater Dei going for 2 when they were up 3 late in the game. Regardless this game was one of the best games of the year.
Chris Henry Jr finished the game with 6 catches, 116 yards and 1 touchdown. Fellow wide out Mark Bowman finished with 5 catches, 105 yards and 2 touchdowns. QB Ryan Hopkins finished with 15/19 passes, 252 yards and 3 touchdowns.
