August 28, 2025: Spruce Creek was led by QB PJ Miller who seemed calm in the pocket no matter the pressure. Miller finished with over 300 yards passing, 84 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.
Teammate Cameron Oxendine finished the game with 10 catches, 2 touchdowns and over 200 yards receiving.
Spruce Creek ended a 28 game regular season win streak by Avon of Ohio.
Avon was led by Cam Wendell who scored all 3 of Avon’s touchdowns and rushed for 91 years. Avon turned the ball over in the 4th quarter with the lead on their own 22 yard line and 3:40 left on the clock. The team later drove down the field and attempted a game tying field goal from 50 yards. The ball had the distance but missed just left of the goal post.
