March 7, 2026 – Week 1 of the season kicked off with intensity as the YOLO Bearcats faced off against the No Town Bulldogs in Woodland, California. The energy was high right from the start, and things got chippy early as both teams battled to set the tone for the season.
Early adversity struck for the Bearcats as starting QB #7 Branyan went down with an injury, forcing starting DE & backup QB #20—whose name wasn’t listed on the roster—to step in. He rose to the moment, getting the offense rolling and leading the Bearcats to a 24–2 victory in their season opener.
The defense was just as dominant—completely locking things down all game. They didn’t allow a single touchdown and only let the Bulldogs cross midfield about three times the entire game.
